In 1974, Craig got a computer service bureau job in Ely. Stephen was born in Ely in 1975. When the company failed in 1977, we moved back to Salt Lake. We did take pictures of our time there. We have yet to locate them. If we did, they would be quite faded. We have visited Ely a few times since then.
We visited the Reno/Sparks area a few times after we moved to Placerville in 1999, including a Moody Blues concert.
Our time in Nevada increased significantly after Craig's sister, Sherri, brother-in-law Kendall, and Craig's mother, Louise, moved to Mesquite. They were new in their house when they hosted Louise's 90th birthday bash in 2021. A lot of family gathered for that. We then tried to visit every year around Louise's birthday since then. If we couldn't exchange a timeshare into Mesquite, we stayed in Las Vegas.
We bought a studio timeshare at Incline Village in 2021. It was cheap.
Northern Nevada and southern Nevada are like two different countries, both with gambling and a desert climate.

Reno is only two hours away. We often drive through Reno on our way to Park City. The photos here are from a Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club International convention in Reno. Craig is the chaplain of California 1, Sacramento, chapter. (Craig on the right)
