The photo to the right of the chicken is of the Napali Coast from above.

Mt. Waialiali is the wettest spot on earth. In our visits to Kauaui, we have never seen the top from below. Even from on top it is cloud covered.

The bottom right picture is of the shore at Waiohai.

Kauai 2011

We used our Waiohai week in 2011. We mostly stayed at the resort. However we did a few island excursions, including our traditional trip up Waimea Canyon. At the top of the canyon (above the Napali Coast), Craig went on hiking trail that took him to the swamp at the top of the island.
