When we bought our week on Kauai, Waiohai was still under construction. So we traded our Hawaii week to see Suzie's brother Jeff and his family and have our first European vacation We flew to Frankfurt and stayed with the Richardsons. The next week, we went by train to a timeshare at Connelles in Normandy. Jeff and Michael went with us. After that week, went a few days to England and stayed in Bristol. The first night outside of London was an epic tale. Then it was back to Frankfurt and then home.

The timeshare we stayed at in Connelles. The Seine runs by it with an island on the r. A bridge connects the timeshare to the island where there is a pool & a playground.

We spent a day at the D-Day sites: Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery at Omaha Beach, Jeff & Michael at a German gun site at Pont de Hoc.
